AUTHOR BIO
Jeanette Cooper fell in love with writing prior to her teens after learning she could shape the world any way she chose with pencil and paper (and with a computer and word processor). Writing presented a personal way to explore the universe, to research the unknowns that served to make her writings more realistic, and to enjoy a vast resource of knowledge and learning.
Jeanette is a native Georgian from Treutlen County. She attended schools and colleges in Florida, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and a Master of Education Degree; thus, becoming an elementary school teacher. With the demands on students to demonstrate proficiency in writing on State Assessment Tests, Jeanette’s favorite subject was teaching creative writing. Her instruction with students kept her own joy of writing alive and active.
Following her early retirement, after twenty-six years of teaching, Jeanette turned solely to writing fiction and making it a joyous learning venture. She has written fourteen novels ablaze with fiery, passionate romance and suspense, but Wall of Color was her first publication (now published under the name: Affair of the Heart), and is followed by Conquered Heart (now published under the name Conquered with Love.)
Other books include: Desperate Choices, Impending Danger, Violent Visions of Murder, When Justice is Served, and Dark Depths of Love. More recent publications are: A Killer Amongst Us, Seductive Betrayal, Stripped of Dignity, Under Suspicion, The Wrong Victim, Vulnerable to Deceptive Love, and Nature & Life: A Poetic Journey
Jeanette lives in Florida where she enjoys gardening, painting in water colors, and writing, writing, writing...
